And what am I going to do with the CCA Chef's jacket emblazoned with my name? or the 4 other jackets plus scarves and a hat? Store them in my closet of course. Can't part with any of those memories. You made me smile big time Chef! Two by the Seahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09474536059429270933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3592101848684515094.post-81442126053514395832010-09-01T11:23:39.765-07:002010-09-01T11:23:39.765-07:00Buenas Dias Chef Dave!

Whitney with turned me onto you. Hilarious post to which I can relate, even though my cooking tenure isn't anywhere near as long or extensive as yours. And I probably don't have quite the cooking clothing closet as you.

Looking through your pics I can just smell and taste the amazing CR flavors. You have access to such a variety of tropical delights. Fresh from the land. I'll bet you forage too? The most recent item I can share, for which I foraged (but it was easy) are Elberberries. Check out my syrup here and let me know what you think. (http://sacatomato.com/making-elderberry-syrup)

Your pics inspire me to make mango syrup/coulis/sauce/jam. Combine that savings with a free meal or two daily and the spendable income gained from a Cook's job began to compare well with more respected, office employment. Plus, of course, the work in a good kitchen was more fun, sensual and physical - in a good way.Steve Harlowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18377588985663564590noreply@blogger.com
